General: Interstate 5 to State Highway 20; East on Highway 20 to the town of Marblemount.
Specific: Interstate 5 to Mt. Vernon, Washington, exit to State Highway 20 East (also known as the North Cascade Highway). Proceed on Highway 20 East through the towns of Sedro Wolley, Rockport and Concrete until you arrive at the town of Marblemount in approximately 45 miles.
At Marblemount, Highway 20 turns 90 degrees due North. Instead of turning North, proceed directly straight ahead over a steel bridge that spans the Skagit River. You are now on the Cascade River Road.
Follow the Cascade River Road for approximately 4.0 miles and ignore any dead-end signs (the road is 22 miles long before it dead-ends). Caution, at about a half a mile, do not turn right and cross the concrete bridge that leads to the salmon hatchery - its the wrong way. Continue until you see the gated entrance to the "Cascade River Park" on your right. The gate is unlocked during daylight hours but locked as twilight begins. Always close the gate behind you (even if you find it open).

Travel times to the Cascade River Park depends on where you are coming from, traffic conditions, what roads you take and how you drive, of course. From I-5 at the intersection of Highway 20 the Park is approximately 45 miles and an hour's drive
